I'm such a design geek... Ordered the phone I posted about on Geek-Speak as a wee treat for the house last week and it arrived today.

The Colombo 2 is a fab wee DECT phone... designed by Chauhan Studio with their intention being to re-establish the "lost relationship" between the earpiece and the mouthpiece. It has such a nice tactile nature about it - Its well thought through and feels nice to use.

Nothing to do with a mac-wearing detective, it's actually named after the legendary Italian designer, who made a name for himself creating objects best suited to the set of Space 1999. And this phone is a tribute to him by the ChauhanStudio.
