I thought Janis Krums' story is beautiful for a number of reasons...

1. his is a story of modern day heroism - helping out... giving his phone to folk to use... getting people warm... getting involved!
2. he explains Twitter in such a "human" way... and demonstrates why folks like me value it so much - immediacy and connectivity.
3. he demonstrates the point I made in my previous post - we are all now documentarians, thanks to technology such as our mobile phones, always-on internet & onlines apps such as Twitter and Twitpic.

Personally I doubt Janis will ever need to buy an iPhone again... forget the glossy ads - this is the best advert for the iPhone, Twitter & Twitpic... ever.

Please remember this point... this is the tipping point for Twitter, Twitpic & always-on mobile internet. At least, I think so.
