This is cool :: guerrilla gardening
For Olly's birthday... I bought her the book on guerrilla gardening by Richard Reynolds - the idea was to inspire her... and maybe encourage her to use her God-given green thumbs for the community.
Well...
My wife reclaimed a piece of waste ground near our house and planted some shrubs. Intention was to create a low maintenance space that will be pleasing to the eye of the surrounding community.
So there you go... another Mathie who makes me proud a punch.
Now imagine a world where churches reclaimed open air spaces instead of filling the open air with hot air... where they demonstrated the love of Jesus in practical ways... instead of just talking a good game.
What if bands and choirs used their "practice" time for the benefit of others in this (or other) ways... instead of trying to improve their "sound".
Yeah... we call all dream. Well done Olly!
