Commissioner Gaither should have been General... there, I've said it! I have a ton of love for the Gaithers... ever since he led the meetings in Hamilton a while back... and am glad to see him get props in Ebony mag and, more importantly as I don't read Ebony, on the Salvation Army in Cananda's blog :: ((link))Israel L. Gaither, the first African-American to lead the U.S. operations of the Salvation Army in the group’s 126-year history, plans to put his stamp on the organization, in part, by reaffirming the group’s commitment to serving the poor, and replenishing the ranks of its ministries with younger and more diverse recruits.God bless you Israel... g'on yersel!
