Today... 2nd March 06

I have taken today off work... Felt really ill last night - bad headache and sickness... too many late nights with too much travelling without enough to keep my blood sugar sweet. Taking the time to chill, rest and relax with Olly.
I am reading "Walk on - The spiritual journey of U2" by Steve Stockman - loving this book. It has "can't put down" status and really helps me understand U2 and Bono more. I find U2's music to have special and sacred moments... and my only regret is not following the Soos' advice and checking them out sooner... In addition to Pandora, I am listening to...
"Another one lost" by Lake Trout
I had heard of them via epitonic(dot)com and had a good gut feel. My gut didn't let me down - it has flavours for the kind of electronica that I love but adds post-rock guitars and ambience that makes it an amazing aural soup. Not as dark as Amon Tobin and I'm not really familiar with Radiohead use them as comparison. The vocals complete the sound and create quite a special experience.
