Alpha - Week 7

Alpha this evening was tremendous - the discussion was extremely fruitful with a number of notable contributions... The group has really gelled and are opening up. Tonight's topic was on how God speaks to us... and it was worthwhile to be part of. Two verses were important to me tonight:

When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I'll listen.

Jeremiah 29:12 (The Message)

Keep company with GOD, get in on the best. Open up before GOD, keep nothing back; He'll do whatever needs to be done...

Psalm 37:4-5 (The Message)

God listens to our prayers and will do whatever needs to be done...if we give our whole-me to Him and keep company with Him.

The band were on fire tonight... They are doing a "Frank Spencer" : Everyday... in every way... they are getting better and better... It is a delight to see Olly's calling come to life... she really does rawk up there when she is singing and playing the guitar... Its great to see Bobby find his place and his thing too...
