Something is going on with Blogger... I have lost entries which concerns me. Anyway, 3rd time lucky with this post...Olly picked me up from Tiger Tiger - I was there to say "cheerio" to a colleague who was moving on... We aimed for TCHAI OVNA in the West End - a friend, Paul T, had told me about a poetry reading at this really cool venue - Its based on Czech teahouses... Anyway, we made a pigs ear out of locating the venue - even with a google map we could not find it for love nor money nor asking...
So we ended up on Byres Road and found MONSTER MASH - I've heard a lot about this venue and we weren't disappointed - their food is fab comfort food - we have veggie haggis, neeps and mash; and it was lovely.
We then went to Beanscene across from the Kelvingrove for some coffee, tea and great tunes - Money Mark was played which was sweet.
Great night... a true silk purse.
