
The final four have been announced for the Designer of the Year comp... Jamie Hewlett for the Gorillaz, a school in Sri Lanka designed by Architecture for Humanity, the revamped Guardian newspaper and a copper shade by Tom Dixon. What a choice! I like the Gorillaz and love Jamie's visuals... but I also love the whole concept that surrounds the work undertaken by Architecture for Humanity. I do read the Guardian and do believe its revamp differentiated it from the crowd but then again Tom Dixon's copper shade is equisite. Hmm...
